Devon has extensive experience representing medical marijuana companies in the state of Florida (“Medical Marijuana Treatment Centers”), as well as certified marijuana testing laboratories (“CMTLs”). Her work includes facilitating MMTC license purchases and sales, ensuring compliance with Florida’s laws and rules, and advising on operational and legal challenges unique to the cannabis industry.
Devon also previously served as an adjunct college professor, teaching a course on Florida's cannabis laws. This experience honed her ability to break down complex legal and regulatory frameworks into practical, non-legal terms, enabling clients and their employees to clearly understand and apply the laws to their operations.

Serving as lead regulatory counsel on numerous MMTC change of ownership transactions.
Helping clients to obtain MMTC licensure via the competitive application process.
Helping clients develop medical marijuana facilities and standard operating procedures that comply with Florida’s laws and rules, as well as developing and offering employee training on applicable laws and regulations.
Representing clients in disciplinary proceedings, including obtaining reductions of assessed fines via settlements.
Helping clients navigate the variance request process to obtain approval of new products, facilities, and processes.
Helping clients obtain approval for wholesale purchase transactions as a result of a crop loss.
Helping clients navigate Florida’s background screening and ownership requirements and restrictions.
Administrative Law
